Our last day of riding started out feeling like a good one, nice flat kms rolling along nicely. As we rolled into town – Surat Thani – our last one before we fly to Bangkok, we were feeling not quite so fresh. A car pulled up beside us to ask where we were going as they had seen us from a few ks before town pulling out the map and trying to ask songthiew drivers where there was a cheap hotel. This lady somehow took a shine to us and told us to follow her and has put us up in her plush resort. We have been lounging at the pool, packing up the bikes into their boxes and hanging out with the lady, her kids, mother and entourage of staff for these last couple of days. Nice and easy end to the last leg.
