Once the New Year’s Eve celebrations were over and the hangovers sufficiently subsided to drive, we said goodbye to our temporary Sydney home in Newtown (thanks to Jane and Jo) and packed up the van with camping gear and all the surf boards we could to set off up the coast to find some paradise surf beaches. We met up again with Matti and Ed and boys, and set up camp on Point Plomer under Matti’s Dad’s 70’s Circus tent.
