Today’s destination was Ben Tre, just a short ride across some islands to get to this supposed little Mekong backwater town. Unfortunately we had misread the map and realised that the ferry route we planned had been replaced by a mega bridge which after yesterday’s quiet country lanes made for a nasty ride full of fumes, beeping and furious pedaling in an effort to get it over with quickly. Aran, completely oblivious to the discomfort thought it was the coolest part of the riding so far. We also had a man insist on Skyping his mother whilst driving beside us so that we could say hello and he could show her our crazy set-up. It certainly causes a reaction everywhere we go. On arrival at our snazzy hotel, filthy and covered in bike grime and exhaust fumes we had a pretty unfriendly greeting. After a few hours by the pool we went to wander around the Riverside town and ate delicious food once again, had great coffee and knocked off another couple of items from our need to buy list.

Boys don’t urinat or stool on bed please.

Loving the tales guys. Wish we had set up something like this from our Oz holiday . We r enjoying great company, fab turquoise waters, busy beaches, secluded beaches etc etc. Loving this low rise city with so much bush just outback. Keep the tales coming 😘😘
