Old friends and their new friends.

Matthew and Edwina are friends that we met in Granada about 8 years ago and we spent a while living next door and in each others pockets. Since then we have seen them only once when they came for a month and stayed with us in guejar with the their then 18 month old Oscar. Now Oscar is 6 and they also have Hugo and Remy. So, more local guides. We stayed with them in Newcastle, north of Sydney and had daily trips to surf at Bar Beach, nearby and look around the area. It was great to get to the beach and soak up a bit of summer and catch a few waves. Newcastle is not the kind of place that a tourist would usually go which made it a great place to see the ozzy in its natural habitat. It’s not really like the other Newcastle at all, other than the coal!
